Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Journeyman Electrician to join our team for projects in Utah. This role involves working in manufacturing plants, factories, warehouses, and industrial facilities, installing and maintaining electrical systems, high-voltage equipment, and control systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems.

  • Work with high-voltage equipment, transformers, motors, PLCs, VFDs, and control panels.

  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

  • Perform rigid conduit bending, cable tray installation, and wiring.

  • Ensure all work complies with the NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards.

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in production and automation systems.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical components and industrial machinery.

  • Work safely in hazardous environments, including confined spaces and elevated locations.

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to meet deadlines.

 

Requirements:

  • Active Utah Journeyman Electrician License (required).

  • 3+ years of industrial electrical experience (factories, power plants, heavy manufacturing, etc.).

  • Proficiency in 480V three-phase systems, control circuits, and motor controls.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and work with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).

  • Familiarity with lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and NFPA 70E safety guidelines.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Experience with rigid conduit bending, cable tray systems, and panel installations.

  • Strong understanding of OSHA and industrial safety protocols.

  • Must have reliable transportation, tools, and PPE.

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme temperatures or confined spaces.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (for safety and job coordination).
