Job Title: Accounting Analyst
Pay Rate: $24/hr.
Shift: 1st M-F 8am to 4:30pm
Benefits: Medical, Dental, and AD&D
Job Purpose: Oversee Logistics Accounting and Billing
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure financial integrity by reviewing and performing analysis to identify errors and explain Year over Year and Month over Month changes.
Lead process improvement projects and partner with key stakeholders.
Ensure financial integrity of the balance sheet as a process owner.
Mentor associates in meeting business and departmental objectives.
Develop future leaders by providing feedback, coaching, and career development to maximize their probability for success.
Develop and implement SOP’s and work flow for the department.
Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
Create operational budget and forecasting activities.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Requires 3-5 years of work experience
Requires 2 years of experience with TMS preferably with TruckMate
Good organizational skills
Strong leadership, team building and interpersonal skills
Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills and ability to troubleshoot required
Strong skills in written and verbal communication
Strong sense of teamwork
Able to adhere to strict deadlines
Computer Skills:
Strong computer skills required; excellent with TruckMate, SAP, Excel, MS Office.
Reasoning Ability:
Must be able to interact with all levels of Management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
