Title: Branch Supervisor
Pay Range: $80,000
Reports to: Global Director, IT and Distribution
Based at: Freehold, NJ
Primary Function:
The Branch Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the client’s values of ownership, Integrity and Innovation are lived out and developed in their department. The Branch Supervisor has complete responsibility and oversight of the facility, to include staff, inventory flow and management, shipping and receiving of products, cleanliness and safety, of the Freehold, NJ location.
The essential responsibilities are:
- Team/Office Leader – providing direction, guidance, assistance and accountability to the other employees/functional department.
- Administration – Manage the processes and flow of communication internally and between Freehold and other offices.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Perform consistently and effectively in the following ways:
- Collaborate with Purchasing to order and maintain all parts for current warehouse inventory.
- Oversee and assist with receiving, inspection and processing of inventory materials, parts, and supplies.
- Oversee and assist in putting away inventory in proper storage locations.
- Oversee and assist picking all inventory items for shipping.
- Oversee and assist packing all parts for shipment.
- Versed in SAGE order entry / customer service.
- Display professional courtesy when taking care of walk-in customers.
- Communicate with other departments regularly. Especially, Purchasing, Accounting and Customer Service.
- Direct and facilitate the flow of information/communication inside Freehold and between offices.
- Oversee and assist Freehold Inside Sales to ensure a premium level of customer service and satisfaction is achieved.
- Support the outside sales staff and work in collaboration with the sales teams to aid in executing sales Strategies and achieving sales targets.
- Assist in part identification for incomplete service calls.
- Maintain inventory perpetual records using a PC.
- Preparing pre-owned equipment for sale. Takes photos of items being offered for sale as pre-owned and uploads to website. Arranges delivery of pre-owned items to purchaser.
- Maintain a neat and organized warehouse area.
- Conduct physical cycle counts to compare to perpetual records.
- Update inventory pricing as needed.
- Prepare reports on the inventory balances, shortages, defective items, price lists and others upon request.
- Oversee and assist inventory labeling and organization.
- Performs other warehousing and inventory tasks as assigned by management. Report damages and discrepancies to Manager
- Other duties within the scope of this exempt position. (for salaried employees)
Skills:
- 3-5 years of management experience within a warehousing environment
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Strong knowledge of materials handling, including heavy lifting techniques
- Proficiency with e-commerce operations and order fulfillment processes.
- Excellent Organizational and Leadership Skills
- Strong Decision-Making Ability
- Ability to Work in both a Team Environment and Independently
- Cognitive Ability and Manual Dexterity to Satisfactorily Perform Duties and Complete Tasks
- Ability to Organize and Prioritize Tasks in a Fast-Paced Environment
Physical Demands:
- This job has physical requirements such as sedentary work, occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; speaking, hearing, and visual acuity, occasionally lifting, up to 50 pounds either individually or with assistance. Talking on the company phone 60-80% of the workday.
