Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Packer / Inspector to join our client's production team. This role is responsible for inspecting products for quality, packaging them according to specifications, and ensuring timely and accurate preparation for shipment. The ideal candidate will maintain a clean and safe work environment while operating small equipment and performing quality control tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick products from the manufacturing line and prepare for packaging.
• Inspect products for visual defects and ensure quality standards are met.
• Package and prepare products for shipment following product specifications.
• Wear proper PPE and adhere to all safety guidelines.
• Complete tasks efficiently and maintain production timelines.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Operate small equipment such as floor sweeper, floor cleaner, clicker press, and roller die cutter.
• Follow packaging requirements per product specifications.
• Perform quality control inspections as required.
• Accurately record production information when operating clicker press or roller die cutter.
• Conduct physical inventory to reconcile daily production numbers.
• Perform product re-work or re-inspection when necessary.
• Complete regularly scheduled cleaning duties per company standards.
• Assemble cartons, insert liners, and assist in staging production supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Availability to work approved overtime, sometimes with minimal notice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operating small equipment.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
