Our client in Camden, NJ is seeking a Logistics Coordinator. This is a 1-year contract position, on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00AM–4:30PM, offering $22.00–$27.00 per hour.
Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
- Data entry of inbound ocean container milestones
- Ocean container delivery order releases to carriers, transit time reporting, and financial reporting
- Timely and efficient resolution of ocean and drayage demurrage and detention
- Review port of entry websites and maintain accurate shipping schedules
- Download logistics data and create reports in Excel
- Communicate with service providers including ocean carriers, trucking companies, and freight forwarders
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries regarding parts shipments
- Assist with carrier bill pay, audits, and carrier rate reviews
Requirements:
- Drayage experience required
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow and create standard operating procedures
- Proficient in clerical work and Microsoft Excel
- AP/AR experience is a plus
- Operational experience and automotive industry knowledge are a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
