Our client in Pennsauken, New Jersey is seeking a full charge Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a Direct Hire position, paying $55K - $65K per year, based on experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The company you will be joining is a leader in high precision medical device machining, dedicated to designing and producing life-saving and life-enhancing medical devices.
Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely payments and collections, while maintaining a file of each account
- Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Prepare and post journal entries, including debit and credits, to the general ledger
- Assist with audits and financial documentation
- Maintain bank accounts and reconciliations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies
- Serve as payroll backup
Requirements:
- College degree in accounting is preferred or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments
- Ability to take full responsibility for all the financial functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
