Our client, located in Princeton, NJ, is seeking a Temporary IT Support Specialist.
The IT Support Specialist will provide IT software and hardware support to faculty, staff, and students.
This is a full-time, temporary, fully on-site position, lasting approximately 2.5 months.
Pay Rate: $40-43/hr
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows and Mac computers, tablets, and smartphones.
- Support customers at the help desk, as walk-ins, and by phone or video conference using remote support tools.
- Assist with IT needs related to a relocation to a new building.
- Assist with audit inventories, including updating and retiring equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience providing hands-on software and hardware support for Windows and Mac OS, preferably within a higher education setting.
- 5 years of experience supporting Android and Apple mobile devices, printers, and copiers.
- 5 years of experience providing AV support across a variety of technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, printing, and networking required.
- Proficiency in Bomgar, CrashPlan, Jamf, and Intune preferred.
- Previous experience as a Mac Genius preferred.
- Previous experience supporting systems integrated with Active Directory or Entra ID.
- Apple or A+ certification preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is required as candidates will be required to use alternate modes of on-campus transportation to get to job sites.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
