Industrial Machinist Mechanic

Our client in Rancocas, New Jersey is seeking a Industrial Machinist Mechanic to join their team! This is a DIRECT HIRE (not contract to hire) position with a well-established leading manufacturing company. This is a Full Time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. This position offers $25-35 per hour based on experience. 

This position will require frequent overtime on Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

• Adjust, fit and align specific tolerances
• Use hand/power tools to trim, file, grind, buff and smooth surfaces, edges and/or joints to assemble parts
• Set up and employ all fixtures
• Using calculators, scribes, dividers, squares, and rulers, layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on material in accordance with drawings or blueprints.
• Work from drawings and specifications.
• Inspect and test completed units by utilizing measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, scales, and gauges. 

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years' of experience in an Industrial Machinery Mechanic position
• Must have prior experience with diversified mechanical, electro-mechanical assembly, and sub-assembly units that are moderately complex.
• Must have knowledge about vacuums systems, induction furnaces and metal reclamation systems
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and symbols
• Basic computer skills required (Microsoft office/outlook)
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Previous experience with a forklift, cherry picker and boom lift are preferred
