Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
Performs the safe and correct movement of all materials needed.
Responsible for accurate inventory control.
Ensure that the material moving equipment are in good working order.
Ensures that materials and machines moved are neat and tidy.
Meet or exceed set production targets where applicable.
Report any quality or quantity concerns to the Lead, Supervisor or Manager.
Keep area, machines, tools and equipment clean, organized and clear of debris.
Ensure that safety protocols for material handling equipment are all functional.
Must use correct PPE and dress safely for the job.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have forklift experience – stand up and sit-down forklift
Manufacturing experience a plus
Must have skills on material moving equipment. Training provided as needed.
Must demonstrate a strong aptitude for working fast and accurately.
Possess requisite mate, writing, reading and communication skills.
Ability to stack correctly, neatly and safely.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to move and record product correctly.
Ability to follow instructions.
Must be able to communicate well with others and have good organization skills.
Data entry skills are a plus.
Ability to work consistently without constant supervision.
Steel-toed shoes required, no sleeveless shirts allowed.
Hours as assigned with the probability of overtime during the week and on Saturday.
