Attorney

Our client in Medford, NJ, is seeking an experienced Attorney with a strong background in criminal prosecution to join their Law Firm. This role is Temp to Hire, with the potential to become Direct Hire for the right candidate. Salary will be commensurate with experience, with preference given to senior-level attorneys.

This position is 100% on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, and requires travel to courts throughout New Jersey.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a seasoned legal professional with extensive courtroom experience
• Demonstrate confidence and professionalism in handling criminal cases
• Be comfortable working independently and managing a full caseload
• Possess excellent communication and advocacy skills
• Be willing and able to travel to various court locations across NJ

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in criminal proceedings, with a focus on DUI and related cases
• Prepare and prosecute cases from intake through resolution
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Attend court hearings, trials, and conferences across New Jersey
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure case progression
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation using MyCase
• Communicate effectively with clients, law enforcement, and court personnel

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience practicing law, with a focus on criminal prosecution
• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey
• Proven experience handling DUI and criminal cases
• Strong familiarity with eCourts and MyCase platforms
• Ability to travel regularly to courts throughout NJ
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
