Our client, a Tax/Accounting office located in Blackwood, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant for their office. This is a Part-Time, Temp to Hire position and the pay rate is $20 an hour. The hours are 10:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday.


Your responsibilities would include:

  • Serve as first point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Scheduling Appointments
  • Prepare and organize tax documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Enter client information into computer system
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems
  • Provide administrative support to tax preparers and accountants
  • Handle confidential date with integrity 
  • Misc. duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience in an administrative or office support role is required
  • Experience in a tax or accounting office is preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Drake, Bill.com, and Juno (or similar platforms) is preferred 
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Availability to work full-time hours during tax season (January–April).
