Shipping and Receiving

Our client in Camden, NJ, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join their team, this is a 1-year Temporary assignment. The hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Wednesday and Friday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. This position offers $20  per hour based on experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Receives, unpack, check, and store merchandise / materials.
• Prepare shipping and receiving reports and notes any shortages or damages.
• Must routinely lift cartons and boxes weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Operate material handling equipment i.e., hand cart, flatbed, pallet jack, move or stack materials or products, and disposal of cardboard, plastics, trash, etc. in their proper containers.
• Microsoft Office/Suite proficient (Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Essential Requirements:

• MUST have a minimum of 3 years' experience with Shipping & Receiving
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
• Must be dependable, able to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with others outside the team, department and company.
