Cabinet Maker

Our client in Voorhees, NJ, is seeing a Cabinet Market to join their team. This is a Temp to Hire role offering between $22 and $24/hr based on experience. The schedule for this role is Mon - Thurs, 6:30AM-3:30PM and Fri 6:30AM-10:30AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and wood substitutes using hand and power tools.
• Construct and install cabinets, shelves, and other wood fixtures according to design plans.
• Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, routers, and sanders safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Repair or modify existing cabinetry as needed.
• Collaborate with designers, contractors, and clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cabinet maker or in a similar woodworking role
• Knowledge of different wood types and finishes.
• Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
