Our client in Glassboro, NJ, is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join their team. This is a Temp to Hire position, offering $24 an hour. The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, 8AM-4:30PM.
**This role would require you to be on-call once hired permanent **
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic plumbing repairs including unclogging toilets and sinks, fixing leaks, and replacing shower heads
- Conduct visual inspections and routine maintenance tasks
- Replace light bulbs and troubleshoot door and HVAC issues
- Apply caulking where needed to maintain facility standards
- Safely use standard 6–8 ft ladders for maintenance tasks
- Respond to on-call maintenance requests once permanent
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing and HVAC issues
- Comfortable working on ladders and performing physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable being on-call when picked up permanent
