Operator

Our client in Salem, NJ is seeking an Operator to join their team. This is a temp to hire position and offers $23.88/hr.

Hours: 9:00AM- 9:15PM, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday with every other Wednesday

Responsibilities:

• Preparing dosimeters for work orders scheduled to be run
• Operating and taking readings on the dosimeter reader
• Assembling processed dosimeters with run data sheet, work orders and load/unload sheets
• Maintaining accurate downtime and system configuration log
• Recording input, dosimeter, and unload information in the computer
• Reporting system problems to the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician
• Knowing how to replace designated mechanical components of the system and assisting Maintenance as required
• Assisting with other tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Thirty (30) days of experience working in a sterilization environment and meeting training requirements
• Must have forklift driving experience
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
• Must be willing to work established shifts
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions over a period of time
• Computer skills desired
• Must complete all required training for an “Operator” outlined in the training manual
