Sales Support and Administrative Assistant
Employment Type: In office and full time
Direct Hire – salary of $55,000-$65,000, depending on experience
Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Support and Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our sales team and general office operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, communication abilities, and a customer-focused attitude to help ensure smooth day-to-day activities and effective support of business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team with customer communications.
- Process sales orders and monitor open orders/delivery schedules in coordination with logistics and operations teams.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline data.
- Coordinate sales meetings, follow-ups, and manage customer correspondence.
- Generate regular sales reports, dashboards, and performance summaries.
Administrative Duties:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and scheduling appointments.
- Organize and maintain files, records, and documentation (digital and physical).
- Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare expense reports.
- Support internal events, meetings, and other sessions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) is a must.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
