We are a licensed Public Adjustment Company, and represent people who have suffered a damage loss to their property. Our company has been assisting homeowners and business owners who have suffered a fire, water or storm damages in the Delaware Valley and surrounding areas since 1964.
We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper.
Job Description:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for ensuring the accurate record-keeping and have experience in full cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients and/or companies (not just AR or AP).
Key Responsibilities:
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Prepare and process invoices, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll
• Maintain General Ledger with supporting documentation
• Generate financial reports, including trail balance, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
• Assist in preparing for yearly insurance company audits (i.e liability and workers compensation)
• Ability to manage, multitask and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
• Tech Savvy - ability to navigate Excel (formulas, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of accounting software, Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent eye for detail, efficient and must have strong organizational skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations
Preferred: 5-7 years of experience
