Injection Molding Machine Operator

Job description

Our client, a lead Manufacturing company in Custom Molding plastics , is in search of an Injection Molding Machine Operator. The right candidate will be familiar with basic machine operations and is willing to learn! 2nd shifts available – with Fridays scheduled OFF! APPLY NOW!

Shifts: Monday – Thursday

4:15PM - 2:45AM

Job Qualifications

· Familiar with basic machine operations

· Able to efficiently implement assigned resources to produce high quality moldings and/or assemblies on a consistent basis

· Capable of operating both thermoplastic and thermoset molding presses

Job Duties:

· Record daily production output consistent with data requirements

· Participates in regularly scheduled quality meetings

· Packages molded components according to instructions given on work order

· Correctly counts and records number of components in packaging container

· Identifies to Production Manager irregularities in production process causing excessive cycle times or excessive reject rates

· Routinely offers suggestions for improving efficiency or reducing operational cost.

· Maintain a neat and orderly work area, including sweeping and cleaning at the end of shift
