Our client in Newark, DE is seeking a 2nd Shift O’ Ring Finisher to join their team. This is a temp to hire, entry level position. This position offers $18/hr.
Monday – Friday, some mandatory overtime on Saturdays
- 2nd Shift: 2:30PM - 1:00 AM (Shift will end at 11pm if there is no OT)
- OT Every third Saturday from 8:00AM to 2:00PM
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Measuring of parts with use of calipers, pi tapes and other equipment/tools.
- Count parts
- Sand parts with use of sanding machines
- May need to size parts with use of sizing mandrels and bands in a hot oven
- Will be trained in Roll Flow
- Fill machines with media stones and roll the parts as indicated on roll flow sheet
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Accurately, and precisely, use hand tools
- Good hand/eye coordination and strong attention to detail
- Read, write, and interpret written instructions and numerically stated specifications
- Must be able to work overtime and be flexible between departments
- Must be able to twist, turn and bend with no issues
- Lift up to 35 lbs
