Our client in Mt Laurel, NJ, is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join their team. This is a Temporary role with the potential to become Temp to Hire for the right candidate. This role offering between $30.00 -$32.00 an hour based on experience. The schedule for this role is 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing all functions of purchasing and inventory control
  • Establish buyer goals based on operational inventory need
  • Negotiate for best opportunities to procure paper, supplies and services
  • Analyze cost savings on purchasing
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Coordinates physical inventory counts for transactional entry through MIS count module.
  • Work closely with other departments
  • Identify and implement cost-saving strategies
  • Document and Communicate issues/concerns to Purchasing Manager
  • Manage Finished Good and Substrate transactional records for Inventory team.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing or inventory control
  • Must have SAGE experience
  • Must have strong negotiation skills
  • Previous experience in commercial print paper procurement is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
