Our client, a private law firm in Newark DE, is seeking a part time Estate Administration Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in various legal matters, including estate and trust planning and administration.


Primary Responsibilities:

  

  • Assist attorney in preparing legal documents, including pleadings and estate planning documents.
  • E-file documents with the Register of Wills office and Court of Chancery.
  • Transcribe legal documents and correspondence accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain organized files and records for easy access and retrieval of information.
  • Communicate with clients regarding file updates and necessary documentation.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.



Skills and Qualifications:

  • Two years experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role within a law office setting.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and processes related to estate and trust planning and administration.
  • Proficient in clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Familiarity with legal documentation and electronic filing processes
  • Ability to transcribe documents accurately with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in electronic filing with the Register of Wills and Court of Chancery.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team mentality with the ability to work independently.
