Our Client in Fort Washington, PA is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their law firm, in their prestigious Trusts and Estates practice group. This is a direct hire position, offering up to $170k salary based on experience.
As an Associate Attorney, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive legal services to our clients. Responsibilities will encompass drafting various estate planning documents, assisting with estate and trust administration, and handling a diverse range of legal matters. Your exceptional client management and communication skills will be vital as you interact with clients and contribute to the firm's continued success.
Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with estate and trust administration, including drafting family settlement agreements and trust modification agreements, and participating in estate and trust accountings.
- Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, health care directives and powers of attorney.
- Conduct legal research in the areas of estates, trusts and taxation.
- Preparation and review of personal and fiduciary income tax returns
- Work collaboratively as need with other practice areas
Requirements:
- Active license in good standing to practice law in Pennsylvania (admission to other state bars is a plus)
- 3-5 years of experience in Trusts and Estates
- Reliable commute to Fort Washington, PA, and as-needed to Wayne, PA
- Strong client management and communication skills
- Ability to handle in-depth research assignments
- Ability to manage multiple assignments
- Ability to effectively communicate
- More experience and portable business will be considered favorably
- LLM in Taxation will be considered favorably
