Insurance Defense Associate Attorney

Our client, a well-established and reputable small defense law firm in Cherry Hill, NJ, is seeking a motivated and experienced Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, demonstrating excellent legal writing, research, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities:

•    Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage, and general liability claims.

•    Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

•    Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.

•    Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel.

•    Provide sound legal analysis and strategic advice to clients.

•    Maintain organized case files and ensure timely handling of all matters.

Qualifications:

•    Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

•    Active member of the New Jersey & Pennsylvania Bar.

•    3-5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.

•    Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills.

•    Ability to manage multiple cases independently while meeting deadlines.

•    Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.

•    Experience with case management software is a plus.
