Our Client in Moorestown, New Jersey is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for their office. This is a Temp-to-Hire position, offering $23-25 an hour based on experience. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm and the position is 100% on-site.


Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the receipt, processing and control of all vendor invoices and all employee expense reports
  • Ensures the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of invoice processing
  • Handles phone calls from customers and vendors
  • Performs various general ledger account reconciliations
  • Daily bank statement processing; and assists on special projects and other duties


Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, collection process
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical abilities and excellent mathematical skills
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Word and Excel)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred but not mandatory
  • 2 years’ experience in an accounting REQUIRED
  • Experience working on an ERP system and reasonable expertise updating, creating and working within spreadsheets
