Our Client in Moorestown, New Jersey is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for their office. This is a Temp-to-Hire position, offering $23-25 an hour based on experience. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm and the position is 100% on-site.
Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the receipt, processing and control of all vendor invoices and all employee expense reports
- Ensures the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of invoice processing
- Handles phone calls from customers and vendors
- Performs various general ledger account reconciliations
- Daily bank statement processing; and assists on special projects and other duties
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, collection process
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent mathematical skills
- Advanced computer skills (MS Word and Excel)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred but not mandatory
- 2 years’ experience in an accounting REQUIRED
- Experience working on an ERP system and reasonable expertise updating, creating and working within spreadsheets
