Manual Silk Screen Press Operator

Our Client in Williamstown, New Jersey is seeking an experienced Manual Silk Screen Press Operator. This is a Temp to Hire role with the potential to become Direct Hire for the right candidate. This role is offering $19 an hour and has a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00PM.

Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

• Make marks, logos and other identification markings on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel 
• Set up and operate silkscreen equipment
• Create and maintain screens for marking applications
• Mix inks and prepare materials
• Create and maintain screens for various marking applications
• Perform quality control checks to ensure prints meet specifications
• Maintain detailed production records
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Troubleshoot printing issues
• Work with fabrication and quality control teams

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in silkscreen printing specifically on metal
• Must have experience creating and maintaining silkscr4een frames and meshes
• Experience working with different metal substrates - aluminum, steel and stainless steel
• Must be able to work overtime if needed
• Strong understanding of ink properties 
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
