Our Client in Fort Washington, PA is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their law firm, in their Orphan’s Court Litigation team. This is a direct hire position, offering $95,000-$120,000 salary based on experience.
Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
- Represent clients in matters related to contested estates, guardianship proceedings, and trust administration
- Preparing legal documents such as petitions, motions, and briefs for Orphan’s court proceedings
- Provide legal counsel on Trust & Estates issues, which may include the drafting and reviewing of wills, trusts, and estate plans
- Collaborate with partners and clients to develop effective legal strategies, attend court hearings and trials, and handle depositions when needed
- Manage discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations
Requirements:
- Active license in good standing to practice law in Pennsylvania (admission to other State Bars is a plus)
- 2-3 years of experience as an Attorney in Pennsylvania
- Strong writing, communication and presentation skills
- Comprehensive litigation experience, both in and out of the Court room
- Solid understanding of Trusts & Estates administration practices
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines effectively
- Ability to effectively communicate and work as part of a team
- Ability to reliably commute to Fort Washington, PA.
- Ability to reliably commute to Pennsylvania Courts
- Desire for courtroom experience
