Powder Coating Operator

Our Client in Hatboro, PA is seeking a Powder Coating Operator to join their warehouse. This position is offering $15-$20 an hour based on experience. The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday, 6:00am-2:30PM and Friday 6am-12pm.

Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, masking, and sandblasting as needed.
• Operate powder coating spray guns and other equipment to apply coatings evenly.
• Monitor curing ovens and adjust settings to ensure proper adhesion and finish.
• Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain and clean powder coating booths, guns, and related equipment.
• Follow safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and PPE usage.
• Keep detailed records of coatings applied, colors used, and process adjustments.
• Assist in material inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

Requirements:

• Experience with automotive, industrial, or custom powder coating applications preferred 
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with different powder types, curing processes, and surface preparation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices.
