Manual Lathe & CNC Machinist

Our Client in Rancocas, New Jersey is seeking a Manual Lathe & CNC Machinist to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE (not contract to hire) opportunity with a well-established company. This role is offering $27 to $33 an hour based on experience. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30PM.

Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

• Operate and maintain CNC milling machines to produce precision parts
• Perform set-ups and adjustments on CNC machines
• Utilize G-Code programming to control machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing and schematics
• Use inspection tools to verify the accuracy and quality of machined parts
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to safety protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ of experience in a similar role
• Must be able to operate and adjust manual, semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools
• Ability to set up and operate the machines
• Must be able to apply appropriate tooling 
• Must be comfortable working overtime - including Saturdays if needed
• Strong understanding of CNC programming
• Experience with Forklift, Scissor lift and Boom lift
• Experience using overhead and job cranes is a plus!
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to use manual hand tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints/engineering prints
• Must have basic computer skills – ability to use Microsoft word and Outlook
