• Answer phone in a professional, courteous manner which includes introducing yourself by name • Look up patient by dob and immediately checking encounters. Able to identify information in previous encounters that may pertain to the present call and handle accordingly • Able to correctly triage calls. Is able to identify high priority nurse calls, such as AFIB, chest pain, etc • Able to schedule appointments correctly – NP, OV, OV ext, televisits using proper visit types and visit statuses. • Uses proper documentation in General Notes, such as hospital info, records info, etc and noted in the proper format using date/message/initials • Able to identify and correctly schedule hospital follow ups • Able to identify and correctly schedule device checks • Able to schedule echocardiograms correctly • Able to gather all necessary demographic information for new patient appointments, as well as send out the proper paperwork • Able to correctly explain and identify the different types of televisits • Able to speak to patients professionally and answer their questions to the best of ability. Knows when to ask questions and ask for help. • Is diligent in checking and addressing encounters efficiently and responding to all M bubbles in a timely manner Is familiar with EPIC and how to look up patient info/records. Also able to identify if a patient was seen by AMS in the hospital
