Medical Assistant

Expected pay: $21/hr

Job Responsibilities:

• Experience taking manual blood pressure
• Taking medical histories.
• Explaining treatment procedures to patients.
• Preparing patients for examinations.
• Assisting the physician during examinations.
• Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens.
• Performing basic laboratory tests.
• EKG experience a PLUS!
• Medical Assistant certification is a PLUS!

Job Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent
• Proven work experience in a related environment
• Proficient in using computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR)
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, if required
