Our Client in Warminster, PA is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their accounting team. This is a Temp to Hire role, offering $22 an hour. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
- Perform general office duties and administrative tasks – be backup phone support
- Process & complete three-way match of invoice, purchase order and receipt of goods
- Work with sales team to resolve invoice and receipt issues
- Entry information into Sage 100 system
- Respond to all vendor issues and requests
- Back up for entering inventory adjustments
- Review vendor statements
- Process and post checks and check registers
- Maintain spreadsheet for checks distributes
- Manage month-end and year end closing and financial reporting
- Assist controller in insurance, banking, corporate tax and real estate functions
- Supervise, train and mentor the corporate accounting staff
- Develop and maintain standard accounting policies
- Coordinate periodic audits
- Provide oversight and coordination of statutory filings
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ of Accounts Payable experience
- Must have a High School Diploma
- Experience with Sage software is preferred
- Must be available for overtime as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective at multitasking
