Our client in Atlantic City is looking for an Outreach Specialist for their office! This is an ongoing position through the end of December, but could go longer.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Determine eligibility requirements for Young Adult Reentry Program.
- Research local area, develop outreach plan and maintain accurate reports.
- Ability to provide information on supportive services agencies for referrals.
- Maintain current and accurate written records (Case notes-MIS/IFDP) as per program requirements.
- Timely and accurate completion of data collection (intake/validation) of services provided.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate through 3 to 5 years experience and/or training, proficiency in interpersonal skills and abilities needed to work independently and to successfully interact with program participants.
- Must share commonalities with the population served, including proficiency in Spanish.
- Must be familiar with area human service agencies and work as part of a team.
- A basic knowledge of WIA 167 Training & Employment Programs.
