Industrial Machinery Mechanic

Our Client in Rancocas, New Jersey is seeking two Industrial Machinery Mechanics to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity, offering $25-$35 an hour based on experience. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.

Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

• Trim, file, grind, buff or smooth surfaces, edges, or joints of assembled pieces using hand/power tools
• Set up and employ all essential fixtures 
• Adapt tools to new applications
• Use calculators, scribes, dividers, squares and rulers
• Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines in accordance to drawings/blueprints
• Work from drawings and specifications
• Inspect and test completed units 
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, scales and gauges
• Keep a safe work environment

Requirements:

• A high school diploma required 
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience
• Previous experience with diversified mechanical, electro-mechanical assembly and sub-assembly units.
• Previous Forklift, scissor lift and boom lift are required
• Ability to understand and read blueprints
• Ability to use common hand tools
• Knowledge of vacuum systems, induction furnaces and metal reclamation systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
