Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Pay: $20 - $25 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing inventory of shipping and production supplies, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, excellent time management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule customer pick-ups and deliveries with freight carriers.
• Coordinate outbound shipments and product loading with shipping material handlers.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of inbound production supply deliveries.
• Input material and supply receipts into business software as needed.
• Receive and log inbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation and processing.
• Prepare Material Test Reports (MTRs) based on production specifications.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of shipping and production supplies.
• Stage and package products using banding, strapping, and plastic wrap methods.
• Ensure all packaging and shipping equipment remains in good working condition.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in shipping and logistics areas.
• Support engineering staff with order and inventory-related functions.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in logistics coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business software (Shoptech preferred).
• Ability to safely operate forklifts.
• Team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent movement, including walking, standing, bending, and stooping.
• Ability to work in a warm environment for extended periods.
• Use of personal protective equipment as required.
