Health Information Management (HIM) Agent
Location: Shreveport, LA
Pay: $16–$17.50/hr DOE
We are seeking a detail-oriented HIM Agent to support clinical operations through accurate data entry, call routing, and general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Enter patient information and documentation into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Answer and route incoming calls to the appropriate departments
Take and process messages, including physician consult requests
Provide general clinic information to patients and callers
Verify patient status and update records in the system
Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of phone operator experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinical environment
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
