Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with Project Administrator capabilities to support our projects, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities
Manage bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable and receivable, and prepare and analyze financial statements.
Calculate commissions accurately based on sales data and established compensation plans.
Track and maintain project costs, including materials, labor, and other related expenses.
Perform light administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and handling correspondence.
Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, and clients to manage project timelines and expectations.
Prepare and submit invoices, purchase orders, and progress reports accurately and on time.
Coordinate logistics and scheduling for material deliveries and project activities.
Work Experience
3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the flooring, construction, or related industry.
Proven track record of managing budgets, financial reporting, and vendor relationships.
Requirements
Strong understanding of job costing and construction accounting principles.
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar).
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and general computer proficiency.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and analytical abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial documentation.
Working knowledge of multi-state tax laws and compliance practices.
