TTFT. $16-$17/hour. Medical Billing Specialist. Responsibilities:
· Reviewing claims rejected for errors and correcting prior to submitting to the payer for reimbursement
· Receiving EOB’s, researching causes for denials,& resubmitting corrected claims
· Processing all remittances (manually and electronic pay) and posting to proper accounts
· Contacting insurance companies regarding delinquent accounts
· Assist with generating daily/weekly/monthly reports
· Stay abreast of changes to system from funding sources, Medicaid, and/or the State and communicates the changes to proper departments
· Handle confidential information & abide by HIPAA laws and other medical policies
· Achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided
· Additional tasks related to billing as needed
