Salary: $50k-$60k DOE

Location: Shreveport, LA

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist with strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience managing multi-platform or third-party system integrations within the transportation industry. The ideal candidate has worked with platforms such as Gemini, Iron Site, Oracle, Engage, and Axon Development, and understands how financial data flows between operational and accounting systems. This role will ensure accurate, efficient, and consistent integration of financial data across multiple platforms, supporting both operational and accounting accuracy. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the integration and reconciliation of financial data between accounting systems and third-party platforms such as Gemini, Iron Site, Oracle, Engage, and Axon.
• Ensure all transactional data (billing, payables, receivables, and general ledger entries) flows accurately between systems.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to troubleshoot data discrepancies, identify process improvements, and maintain system integrity.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes as they relate to integrated system data.
• Review integration logs, exception reports, and reconciliation statements to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain documentation for integration processes, financial workflows, and system dependencies.
• Assist with ERP and software upgrades, migrations, and new system integrations as the company evolves.
• Provide accounting support and insight for process automation and technology initiatives across the business.

Qualifications:

• High-volume Oil & Gas invoicing experience required.
• Proven experience with multi-platform AR systems (Iron Site software is preferred; however, familiarity with Gemini, Oracle, Engage, or Axon Development is also acceptable.
• Transportation or Oil and Gas industry experience required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
