Customer Service Specialist / Inside Sales
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide product guidance, process orders, and ensure excellent support for both customers and the sales team. Strong communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
Receive and process customer orders via phone, email, and in-person
Enter and adjust orders in the system
Assist walk-in customers with product information and purchases
Prepare pick tickets, bills of lading, quotes, and invoices
Track order status and provide timely updates to customers
Process payments (credit card and cash)
Support outside sales staff and coordinate with other departments
Assist with basic accounting tasks (cross-training provided)
Maintain accurate filing systems and protect confidential information
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn new systems (transition to NetSuite in progress)
Basic accounting knowledge is a plus
