Job Title: Machine Operator / Maintenance
Location: Shreveport, LA
Pay: $30/hour
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights)
Type: Full-Time

Overview:
We are seeking motivated and reliable Machine Operator / Maintenance professionals with strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate has integrity and a willingness to work hard, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures
• Set up, adjust, and calibrate machines to meet production requirements
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Ensure all equipment in your work area is maintained and used according to health and safety regulations
• Perform scheduled and as-needed maintenance on equipment
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Train new crew members as requested
• Observe and enforce all safety procedures, conducting required safety observations each month
• Follow all standard operating procedures and ask for guidance when unclear
• Serve as a leader in safety and teamwork initiatives

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred but not required)
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
• Computer skills, including email (knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word a plus)
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights
• Valid driver’s license, DS, and MVR required
• Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and maintenance aptitude
• Ability to follow work instructions and learn new processes
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Forklift operation experience is a plus
• Willingness to follow all safety procedures and company policies
