Home Care Area Manager
Salary Range: $55,000 – $75,000 annually (depending on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
Location: Includes travel to patient homes within designated territory

About the Role
As the Home Care Area Manager for this branch, you will be the driving force behind both operational excellence and strategic growth. This leadership position combines people management, service delivery oversight, and community engagement. You’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring exceptional care in the field while fostering strong referral partnerships and building a high-performing team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on balancing compassionate service with a performance-driven mindset. You’ll be responsible for expanding our client base, maintaining regulatory compliance, managing field staff, and delivering exceptional care to our patients—many of whom you'll visit personally in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
Branch Growth & Client Expansion
- Develop and implement strategies to increase client census and meet regional growth targets
- Cultivate referral relationships with healthcare professionals and local organizations
- Lead community outreach initiatives and represent the agency at local events
Leadership & Team Management
- Oversee hiring, training, and performance management of Care Managers and field staff
- Drive caregiver recruitment and retention efforts to meet growing demand
- Promote a culture of accountability, empathy, and continuous improvement
Operational Management
- Oversee the full client experience—from intake and assessment to care plan execution and follow-up
- Ensure timely and efficient scheduling of caregivers to meet client needs
- Monitor daily branch operations to identify and resolve service gaps or bottlenecks
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure full compliance with Medicaid, HIPAA, and relevant state/federal regulations
- Conduct quality audits, home visits, and staff supervision to uphold care standards
- Collaborate with clinical and compliance teams to ensure top-tier service delivery
Community & Referral Development
- Build strong partnerships with discharge planners, case managers, and social workers
- Serve as a visible leader in the local healthcare community and expand brand presence
- Support ongoing business development efforts through strategic engagement
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, home care, or branch leadership
- Demonstrated success in census growth and team performance management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with care scheduling, documentation platforms, and home care compliance
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Nursing, or related field)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for home visits and field support
