Water Meter Reader

We are seeking Water Meter Readers for a company in Shreveport, LA. 

$14.63/hr

Responsibilities: 

Reads water meters and records accurate reading of water consumption used by utility customers. 

Checks for meter tampering, and identifies and reports unauthorized connections. 

Duties performed outdoors, with exposure to the elements, insect and animal bites, and potentially hazardous conditions. 

Ability to exert moderate physical effort, walking 5 to 8 miles per day, stooping, kneeling, bending, and crouching. 

Routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
