Job Title: Logistics Manager

Pay: $60,000 - $72,000 per year

About the Role:
As the Logistics Manager, you will be the driving force behind our shipping operations, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery processes. You will lead a diverse team, manage shipping schedules, and maintain compliance with safety regulations to guarantee customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and execute efficient shipping schedules to meet customer needs
Oversee and manage CDL drivers, yard personnel, and office assistants, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity
Maintain a clean, accessible, and safe shipping yard
Plan safe and effective delivery routes daily
Stay current with FMCSA regulations and ensure compliance for all equipment and personnel
Respond promptly to customer shipping inquiries and provide excellent service
Proactively address challenges with innovative solutions to maintain seamless operations

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Proven leadership experience managing teams effectively
Strong time management skills to handle fast-paced priorities
Solid understanding of logistics, truck, and trailer operations
Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
Adaptability and ability to perform under pressure
Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and safety standards
CDL license preferred but not required (helps understand driver needs)
Key Qualifications:
Logistics or large team management experience required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and travel as needed
Proactive attitude with excellent organizational abilities
Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
Working knowledge of DOT tractors and trailers is a plus
Successful background check and drug screen required
