We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Optical Technician for a company in Shreveport, LA! Optical experience is highly preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate with a background in technology or medical fields. Responsibilities:
Assist with fitting, adjusting, and repairing eyeglasses and contact lenses
Operate optical equipment and tools for lens cutting and finishing
Educate patients on eyewear care and maintenance
Maintain accurate records and process orders efficiently
Ensure a clean and organized workspace
Provide excellent customer service and support to patients
Qualifications:
Preferred: Experience in an optical or medical setting
Considered: Any technical experience with hands-on equipment or tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
