Pay Rate: $20/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to cut, shape, and create high-precision metal and plastic parts. You will be working in a manufacturing plant, machine shop, or tool room environment, ensuring that parts are produced to exact specifications, efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines to perform machining operations, including cutting, drilling, milling, turning, and grinding on metal and plastic materials.
• Set up and adjust machines, tools, and equipment according to work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and productivity.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintain machine equipment and tools, performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
