Job Overview:
We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will not only manage front desk responsibilities with a warm and welcoming attitude but also possess strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word to support various administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and efficiently.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain conference room calendars.
- Perform general administrative duties including data entry, document preparation, filing, and scanning.
- Create, edit, and maintain documents, spreadsheets, and reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Track and organize information in Excel spreadsheets, including formulas, sorting/filtering, and basic data analysis.
- Support various departments with documentation and reporting tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk/reception area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or administrative certification is a plus.
- Proficient to close-to-advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word (e.g., formulas, formatting, tables, document layout, templates).
- 1+ years of receptionist, administrative assistant, or office support experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Comfortable learning new software or office tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers, phone systems).
- Familiarity with other Microsoft Office Suite applications (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with data entry or basic reporting.
