Job Overview:

We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will not only manage front desk responsibilities with a warm and welcoming attitude but also possess strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word to support various administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain conference room calendars.
  • Perform general administrative duties including data entry, document preparation, filing, and scanning.
  • Create, edit, and maintain documents, spreadsheets, and reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Track and organize information in Excel spreadsheets, including formulas, sorting/filtering, and basic data analysis.
  • Support various departments with documentation and reporting tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk/reception area.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or administrative certification is a plus.
  • Proficient to close-to-advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word (e.g., formulas, formatting, tables, document layout, templates).
  • 1+ years of receptionist, administrative assistant, or office support experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Comfortable learning new software or office tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers, phone systems).
  • Familiarity with other Microsoft Office Suite applications (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with data entry or basic reporting.
