Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Assembler to join our team in Minden, LA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with prefab, generator, or AC assembly and be able to work under limited supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy and safety.

Job Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for building and installing components such as air conditioners, waveguides, fire suppression systems, and generators. Duties may include hanging, mounting, welding, cutting, and wiring according to blueprints and Bill of Materials. This position requires mechanical aptitude, precision, and the ability to operate various power tools and forklifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and Bills of Materials to identify correct parts and assembly methods

  • Measure and cut materials such as cable trays, threads, and pipes

  • Install and connect grounding, vent fans, waveguides, and cover plates

  • Prepare and install generator exhaust systems, AC units, louvers, and dampers

  • Operate forklifts to move and position heavy equipment such as generators and air conditioners

  • Perform cad welding, crimping, and caulking as needed

  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with safety and technical standards

  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order

Qualifications:

  • Experience using hand and power tools such as drills, saws, crimpers, caulk guns, and pipe threaders

  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints

Physical Requirements:

  • Must wear PPE, including protective eyewear and steel-toed boots

  • Must be able to stand, stoop, climb ladders, and work in various positions for extended periods

  • Capable of lifting 25–50 lbs frequently and up to 150 lbs occasionally (with assistance)

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and noisy environments

  • Good manual dexterity and clear vision (with or without corrective lenses)
