Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking experienced TWO Experienced Diesel Mechanics for a company in Shreveport, LA. You MUST be able to rebuild semi-engines. On-call rotation with additional pay.  Good attitude and work ethic are vital to your success at this company. 

Shifts available: 1) 1:30p-midnight OR 2) 5p-3a (Guaranteed 50 hrs/week). 

MVR, Drug Screen and Criminal Background Check required. 

Hourly:

• $30-$35/hr (Guaranteed 50 hrs/week)

Responsibilities:

• Ability to rebuild semi-engines/in frame.
• Preparing work plans after fully scoping out the issue.
• Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions.
• Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering, and exhausts.
• Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other associated parts.
• Completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake cheeks.
• Maintaining records of parts inventory and service vehicles.
• If certifications and ability of internal overhaul, hourly rate will be the upper end of the given scale.
