Parts Manager

We are searching for a Parts Manager for a Commercial Truck Dealership here in Shreveport, LA.

$900 a week + incentive bonus based on profit of 5%-10%/month (easily gross $75k with minimal profit).

Health Benefits paid 50% by employer

Responsibilities:

• Operating and maintaining a usable parts inventory for various manufacturers.
• Selling, ordering, and receiving parts.
• Maintaining the flow of parts for the repair shop.
• Filling orders from wholesale shops and individuals.
• Conveying information as to the availability of parts and the status of orders pending.
• Will be working closely w/Service Manager as well as clients (new and existing).

Knowledge Qualifications:

• Must understand basic accounting/bookkeeping principles.
• Inventory control.
• Expenses and how things are charged to different inventories.
• Creating reports.
• Reading P&L statements.
• Balance sheets
• Managing money (will be given a basic bookkeeping assessment).
• Will need to learn some of the terminology differences in the industry as well as CDK software.

Must be a team player, task-driven, self-starter, have excellent communication and organization skills, be able to follow processes in place, and good with time management.

Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and MVR.

Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm; maybe 2-3 Saturdays/year for special occurrences such as inventory and clean up.
