Job Title: Mig/Tig Welder
Location: Shreveport, LA
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Type: Full-Time
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mig/Tig Welder to join our team in Shreveport, LA. The ideal candidate will have strong welding skills, the ability to read blueprints, and experience with safety procedures and quality inspections.
Responsibilities:
Perform Mig and Tig welding according to blueprints and specifications
Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
Prepare products for welding, including setup, wire changes, and gas tank changes
Package, label, and move finished products to designated locations
Ensure equipment is properly set up and safety devices are in use at all times
Operate forklift to move materials as needed
Conduct first-piece and ongoing inspections per RMF standards
Monitor equipment and request or perform maintenance as necessary
Perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs
Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Mig/Tig Welder
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Forklift operating experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Reliable and hardworking with the ability to work independently
